    Fire Resistant Cable

    Fire resistant cables are crucial for ensuring the reliability of power supplies during emergency situations, such as fires.     What is Fire Resistant Cable?

    Fire resistant cables, often referred to as fire alarm cables, feature a plain annealed conductor, which can be multi-core, and are insulated with low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) material and MICA fire retardant tape. These cables are designed to maintain circuit integrity in the event of a fire, providing a critical function in life safety systems. All our fire resistant cables conform to BS EN50200 class PH60, ensuring they meet stringent safety standards. Additionally, they are approved by LPCB to BS5839-1, BASEC to BS7629 and BS6387 CNZ, and hold BASEC and LPCB approval to BS EN ISO 9001:2007.
