Olympic hexagon shank auger drill bits are manufactured from carbon steel with ground and sharpened combination cutting edges. The have precision tapered double threads for easy penetration and withdrawal. Supplied in individual hanging wallets

Olympic Twist Drills are manufactured in a roll forged, black finish with a straight shank conforming to BS 328 & DIN 338.They are designed to be used in fast rotating drilling machines and are supplied in hanging telescopic cases.

• Suitable for use with sheet metal, cast iron, aluminium, wood, plywood, plastics and pipe
• Ensure the recommended speed is used for different diameters of holesaw
• Use the correct cutting fluid when making holes in metal, other than cast iron which should be cut dry
• Use correct level of pressure when hole cutting. Too much or too little can damage cutting edges
• Pilot drills should be correctly assembled to ensure they do not extend beyond cutting teeth further than the material thickness being cut
